DRYING / COOLING
Drying is one of the oldest methods for refining or preservation of food and for stabilizing several products in various branches. Fluidized bed technology makes the thermic treatment of bulk good particularly effective. The intense heat and mass transfer creates optimal preconditions for fast economic drying and cooling. The thermic Neuhaus Neotec process is used for fluidizable bulk goods. In mass production thereby the primary compound continuously is inserted into the fluidized bed apparatus and stowed by air into the condition of an expanding fluidized bed. The product then shows a liquid-like performance. Several supply air zones with different temperatures enable an exact, product suitable drying process, and if required, a following cooling. This continuous process is used in mass production; for batchwise processing of minor amounts also batch plants are suitable.
